Milagro Center is a 501 (c)3 nonprofit organization whose mission is to ensure the social and academic success of underserved children and youth through Cultural Arts, Living Values, Academic Support, and Mentoring.

 

2022-2023 United Way Funded Programs

Mentoring Miracles provides students who participate in Milagro Center’s K-5 Program with one-on-one mentoring. Each mentor supports their mentee in all areas of their life, with particular emphasis on school work and social interactions. Mentors meet with the children either at Milagro Center or by virtual technology for at least one hour per week.

STARS is a year-round educational and cultural-arts-based out-of-school time program serving economically-challenged, academically at-risk children in grades K-5. The program’s focus is to have each child successfully advancing to the next grade at the end of each academic school year and reading at or above grade level by 3rd grade.

The Teen Leadership Program is an arts and education-based out-of-school time enrichment program serving economically disadvantaged, academically at-risk teens in southern Palm Beach County. Students are engaged in cultural arts, academic tutoring, college preparation, career development, and mentoring during afterschool hours and summer camp.
