YWCA of Palm Beach County is one of the lead organizations that work with community partners as well as local and state officials to eliminate racism while also enabling women and girls to strengthen their quality of life including family relationships, social and health well-being, professional development, financial security, and influence in the community.
2022-2023 United Way Funded Programs
The YWCA Child Development Center is a school readiness program that provides free, quality childcare for children ages 3 to 5 years of age from low to moderate income families. The Center is nationally accredited and provides year-round services for a full 10 hours a day.
YWCA’s Harmony House program offers assistance to victims of domestic violence so they can escape their abusers. The program provides shelter, outreach, individual/group therapy, financial literacy, employment assistance, and safety planning among other services to empower survivors to rebuild their lives and live a life free of abuse.
