The Town of Palm Beach United Way celebrated its philanthropic leaders at the 35th Annual Alexis de Tocqueville Society Recognition Dinner on Tuesday, April 14, at the Sailfish Club.  Susan and Bob Wright were honored with the “Distinguished Citizen Award” in front of a crowd of more than 200 supporters.  The award is the highest accolade bestowed by the Town of Palm Beach United Way and recognizes unparalleled leadership in philanthropy.  

Tocqueville Society members contribute $10,000 or more each year to the Town of Palm Beach United Way’s Annual Campaign. Kimberly and Scott Goodwin and Josephine and Jason Kalisman are co-chairs of this year’s Tocqueville Society.  To date, members have raised $6,253,816 on a goal of $5.68 million.  Since 1990, the Society has raised over $111 million to help people in need throughout Palm Beach County.
