The Town of Palm Beach United Way promotes and supports volunteerism to enhance the quality of life in Palm Beach County. People volunteer for a variety of reasons. Many feel compassion for those in need, some want to "give back," and others are passionate about the issues facing our community. Whatever your reasons, we can connect you with many great options to get involved that match your interests and location preferences.

Achievement Centers for Children and Families
Three volunteers are needed for the ACCF Drive Through Thanksgiving hot meal distribution on Thursday, November 19th from 3:30 – 6:30 PM. Volunteers would guide traffic as cars come through the line and deliver pre-packaged meals to the cars. Masks and gloves are required, Thanksgiving apparel optional, and temperature checks will be done upon arrival.
Four volunteers are needed to assist with the annual Holiday Shop for Children & Families on Saturday, December 19th from 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM. This is a simulated shopping experience for under resourced families to choose and get gifts wrapped for their children. Volunteers will assist with setup and cleanup of the event as well as logistics, from assisting in the gift wrapping tent to monitoring the shopping courtyard or guiding traffic in front of the building. Due to the COVID-19 health risks, the event will be outdoors with social distancing measures in place (reduce amount of families who are invited to “shop”). Masks are required, holiday apparel optional and temperature checks will be done upon arrival.
Volunteers needed on Saturday mornings to help with pressure washing, planting and mulching, and cleaning playground equipment and surrounding area. Hours are 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
