
Take Stock in Children Palm Beach was established in 1995 as a non-profit organization in Florida that provides a unique opportunity for deserving, low-income youth to escape the cycle of poverty through education. Take Stock offers students one-on-one support services, college scholarships, caring volunteer mentors and hope for a better life.
2022-2023 United Way Funded Programs
Take Stock in Children’s Middle School Expansion Project provides wraparound services to 25 middle school students attending low-performing schools. Each student receives direct program services and a 2-year (60 credit hour) college scholarship. Program outputs include one-on-one mentoring, college readiness coaching, monthly academic workshops, student advocacy, and post-secondary retention services.
The multi-year Take Stock program provides high school students with the hands on support they need to graduate high school, transition into college and enter a post-secondary institution. Program outputs include one-on-one mentoring, college readiness coaching, monthly academic workshops, student advocacy, a full tuition 2-year college scholarship, and post-secondary retention services.
