The Palm Beach County Food Bank is committed to being a strong leader for the other stakeholders and organizations that join it in addressing the issues surrounding hunger in Palm Beach County. They are focused on fighting hunger in Palm Beach County through five programs – Childhood Hunger Initiatives, Senior Hunger Initiatives, Partner Marketplace, Benefits Outreach, and other growing community initiatives. They support over 200 partner agencies in Palm Beach County with food, programs, resources, and services.

2026-2027 United Way Funded Programs
Childhood Hunger Initiatives partners with schools, afterschool programs, camps, libraries, and community centers to distribute bags of child-friendly, easy-to-prepare food to food-insecure children and their families over the weekend when free federal feeding programs are closed.
Senior Hunger Initiatives distributes senior-friendly, shelf-stable groceries and fresh fruits and vegetables to low-income residents 60 years and older (50 if disabled) who rely on hunger relief agencies to supplement their insufficient food supplies.
