Palm Beach Country Club Foundation $100K challenge will seed Hunger Relief Fund

Traditionally, the New Year is a time of celebration and optimism.

But for thousands of Palm Beach County residents who are already dealing with the economic fallout from COVID-19,  the new year means more loss as federal funding for food, housing and jobless programs disappears.

The members of the Palm Beach Country Club want to help.

The group's foundation has offered a $100,000 matching gift to the Town of Palm Beach United Way to seed a new Hunger Relief Fund.
