United Way tops fundraising goal by $1.5M

The Town of Palm Beach United Way marked its 78th annual meeting this month with a major announcement: The nonprofit has exceeded its goal by nearly $1.5 million, with more time left in its fundraising year. 

At the meeting attended by Town of Palm Beach United Way board members, volunteers and supporters at The Breakers Palm Beach, general campaign chair Richard Rothschild announced the organization to that point had raised $6.96 million of its $5.5 million goal. The fundraising campaign ends June 30.
