The beginning of another school year isn't far away, and that means it's time to fill kids' backpacks with all the stuff they will need for academic success.
But not every student in Palm Beach County has the same resources. That's why the Town of Palm Beach United Way sponsors a school supplies drive each summer to help needy families in the county be ready for the first bell.
From July 21 to Aug. 4, the United Way will run its 13th annual School Supply Drive, which collects supplies and donations to benefit low-income Palm Beach County families. The supplies will be donated to partner nonprofits that will distribute them to needy students.
