Palm Beach's United Way creates Nepal fund with $100,000 matching gift

As Nepal continues to recover from the ferocious flash floods and landslides that swept away miles of homes and buildings in the country's northern region, the Town of Palm Beach United Way has launched a relief fund to provide support to those affected.

Launched Sept. 1, the Nepal Recovery Fund kicked off with a $100,000 dollar-for-dollar matching gift from the Cathleen McFarlane Foundation to support communities along the Nepal-China border devastated by natural disaster.
