Palm Beach United Way raises $200,000 to support Nepal recovery efforts

Organizations aiding Nepal's recovery since its northern region was swept by devastating flash floods and landslides will soon get a boost. The Town of Palm Beach United Way has announced it has raised $200,000 to support recovery efforts.

Launched at the start of the month, the United Way's Nepal Recovery Fund kicked off with a $100,000 dollar-for-dollar matching gift from the Cathleen McFarlane Foundation to support impacted communities.

Within the two weeks, United Way was able to secure enough donations to match the foundation's gift.
