Haiti Earthquake Relief Fund

On Saturday, August 14, 2021, a magnitude 7.2 earthquake struck Haiti causing severe damage and high casualties.  The earthquake is believed to have occurred along the same fault line as the devastating tremor 11 years ago.  The magnitude 7.0 earthquake that hit Haiti in 2010 affected approximately 3 million people and was the worst natural disaster ever experienced in Haiti, regarded as the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere.

The Town of Palm Beach United Way has established a Haiti Earthquake Relief Fund to help individuals and families in Haiti recover from this devastating earthquake.  100% of donations will go directly to reputable organizations in Haiti focused on relief efforts for the Haitian people.

Thank you for supporting our Haitian neighbors.
