Boca Helping Hands

Boca Helping Hands is a community-based nonprofit that provides food, medical and financial assistance to meet basic human needs as well as education, job training and guidance to create self-sufficiency.

2023-2024 United Way Funded Programs

Boca Helping Hands’ Backpacks program provides food insecure students with non-perishable, easy-to-prepare meals to ensure they get enough to eat on weekends (when they can't depend on school meals). Each Friday during the school year, Boca Helping Hands sends children home with a box full of meals, snacks, and drinks that meet recommended dietary guidelines.

The Boca Helping Hands Pantry Program provides pantry bags of groceries to Palm Beach County residents living at 130% or below of the federal poverty level. Bags are distributed by staff and volunteers at five locations in Palm Beach County.
