Adopt-A-Family's mission is to strengthen families with children in their efforts to achieve stability and self-sufficiency by providing access to all-encompassing services. Since 1983, Adopt-A-Family has grown into the largest service provider for homeless families in Palm Beach County - providing access to services for more than 2,000 families with children per year.

Project Grow, Adopt-A-Family’s afterschool/summer program for elementary school children who have experienced homelessness and hardship, uses a holistic approach and robust curriculum to help its students overcome academic deficits, resolve emotional traumas, and catch up to their stably housed peers.
Program REACH is Palm Beach County’s primary emergency shelter for families experiencing unsheltered homelessness, providing 19 units of 90-day interim housing paired with intensive, housing-focused case management and a range of program supports including ancillary referrals, tutoring, budget coaching, computer access, and a food pantry.
Adopt-A-Family’s Housing Stabilization Program serves as a community safety net, preventing episodes of family homelessness by providing short-term rent assistance and budget-centered case management for lower-income Palm Beach County households who can’t pay their rent due to a financial crisis outside their control – an injury, major illness, or unexpected job loss.
Service Enriched Housing is a 31-unit affordable, supportive housing program with a savings component built into the rent structure, providing a path to debt reduction, credit repair, wealth-building, and mortgage readiness for employed, low-income Palm Beach County families.
