United Way society toasts distinguished Palm Beach citizens

In a town where everybody’s a VIP — or thinks they are — “distinguished” is a high bar, indeed.
So the party honoring those distinguished citizens had best not be run-of-the mill.
 
And it wasn’t.
 
More than 100 members of the Town of Palm Beach United Way’s Alexis de Tocqueville Society turned out to honor John and Jana Scarpa as the 2018 Distinguished Community Citizens.
