Who We Are

The Palm Beach Community Chest was founded in 1945, by a group of concerned citizens in Palm Beach for the purpose of raising and distributing funds to charitable organizations.  In 2006, we changed our name to the Town of Palm Beach United Way, and for over 64 years, our purpose has remained constant. We are dedicated to improving people's lives for the better and making our community stronger.

We are all connected in our community. When children succeed, when families are stable, when individuals are healthy, our community is stronger. That's why the Town of Palm Beach United Way focuses on programs that are the building blocks for a better life:

  • Income that can support a family through retirement.
  • A quality education that leads to a stable job.
  • Good health.

Our goal is to create long-lasting and measurable changes that improve the quality of life for struggling individuals, families and children in Palm Beach County.

That's what it means to LIVE UNITED.

UNDERNEATH EVERYTHING WE ARE, UNDERNEATH EVERYTHING WE DO, WE ARE ALL PEOPLE. CONNECTED,
INTERDEPENDENT, UNITED. AND WHEN WE REACH OUT A HAND TO ONE, WE INFLUENCE THE CONDITION OF ALL.
THAT'S WHAT IT MEANS TO
LIVE UNITED.
