PALM BEACH, FL, August 26, 2010 – The Literacy Coalition of Palm Beach County, a Town of Palm Beach United Way member agency, recently welcomed 40 new Literacy AmeriCorps members – that’s twice as many members than that of last year! The recent college graduates will serve their country for a year by providing literacy services to adults, children and youth at 33 literacy sites throughout Palm Beach County. Six AmeriCorps members will serve in local high schools as graduation coaches to work with senior students who are in danger of dropping out.

Relief Supplies Delivered to Haiti
