The Town of Palm Beach United Way hosted the 27th Annual Tocqueville Society Dinner on March 21, 2016 in appreciation of its major donors, thanking them for their commitment to lasting community change. The evening honored Thomas C. Quick with the “Distinguished Community Citizen Award.” The award is the highest honor the Town of Palm Beach United Way bestows and recognizes unparalleled leadership in philanthropy.
“I don't think you could find anyone more dedicated to the community and those less fortunate than Tom Quick. The Town of Palm Beach United Way is so fortunate to count him as a friend,”said Michele Kessler, Chairman of the Board of the Town of Palm Beach United Way.
Sheila Fine and Lyn Ross, co-chairmen of this year’s Alexis de Tocqueville Society, thanked society members for their incredible generosity and their commitment to improving the health, income and education of those less fortunate in our community. In its 27-year history the Alexis de Tocqueville Society of Palm Beach has raised over $55 million.
The dinner was held at Club Colette and was graciously underwritten by Sabadell Bank & Trust.
